Will Pennington-Little (he, him, his)

I completed my Bachelors of Science with a specialization in Psychology in 2016 at Wilfrid Laurier University located in Kitchener/Waterloo. While working towards my degree, I worked as a summer camp counsellor at a summer camp designed towards children diagnosed with cognitive and/or behavioural disorders, as well as children that were placed on the spectrum. This camp typically ran a total of four sessions, each session being a two-week sleepover camp, and was structured to follow all the regular activities of a traditional summer camp, but with added support and understanding for children with different neurological challenges and complexities. The goal of each session was to provide these children with a sense of independence, accomplishment, and self-fulfilment. After completing my degree, my wife and I moved to Ottawa for 3 years, before discovering Revelstoke and falling in love with the town. We officially moved here in 2019, and have loved being part of the community ever since.

I strive to create an atmosphere of warmth and belonging, and create a space in which people feel comfortable and welcome. I aim to create a unique Neurofeedback protocol for every individual client, as no two minds are the same. Through Neurofeedback training, I seek to assist clients improve self-regulating behaviours and see benefits in their day-to-day lives as I work towards my Othmer Method Certification under Jennifer’s supervision.

When I am not in the office, I enjoy hiking or taking my bike out on the trails, or just for a ride around town. In the winter I like to get out skiing whenever I get the chance, and in the summer I love kayaking through the rivers. If I am not out enjoying the outdoors, I am probably enjoying a delicious meal at one of our town’s fantastic restaurants.
